I like investing in close-end funds that pay monthly dividends. The trick is to hold long term and reinvest the monthly dividends plus buy more shares on a monthly basis or whenever you can afford to. This can be easily done because close-end funds are bought and sold on the stock market just like regular stock. That’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between $50k to $70k in dividend income

It's 7/28/2021....If BABA is good enough for Charlie Munger and Monish Pabrai at $221 per share, it is good enough for me at $190.

@@carlmannhard8051 I agree with what you are saying. He only has 4 stocks and has held most of them for a long time. I’m just pointing out that he can change his mind. By all means follow him, don’t bet the farm.

The correct buy and sale in products and financial instrument. It is not the long term holding. If you buy 2000 dollars products or financial instruments you must able resale for 2200 or better each days. Because you make a living base on buy and resale.

It's just going along with what others were doing at that time not knowing anything better where your interests lie, and that's how it evolved with every circle around but when you take apart the layers you do realize what all got done in certain ignorance not really knowing better except certain things were at stake and those needed to be saved

I love listening to Charlie...especially when he reflects on his best friend and business partner. I am inspired by his knowledge and experience. I'm a block chain and crypto guy...different than conventional business, I use his principles to succeed. Hold or what I say ...HODL long term, I respect his midset. I learn from Charlie's and Warren's principles of investing...I continue to learn, remain open-minded and invest for the long term, especially with a new asset class...opportunity!!!
