Anyone have any issues with their padre or compadre having up and down blade play? My compadre has never been used except opening many many times and it has a tiny bit of play. I can hold the end handle and shake it and it rattles. Contacted Kunwu 2 weeks ago they have helped none except for asking for videos. Then they scalded me for taking the knife apart when I tried cleaning hoping it would fix the play. After complaining about no customer service they are going to send me a bigger pivot. Im done buying knives from China especially if they do not have US warranty. Now i have a $300 knife that I'm probably going to have to send off for a month or more.

@@bamabladez damn that really sucks to hear. I have handled a lot of kunwu knives and they never had a issue like that. My current compadre I actually had to lighten the frame lock tension for preference reasons and it still locks up solid. The only thing that can cause lock rock up/down is too much space between the lock face and blade tang so pushing in the lock could help but of course it you push it in too much it can cause excessive pressure and the action will suffer over all. If they are offering to “fix” it then just let them do what they can. Most online retailers would do a swap if the knife is in basically new condition and you have all the original packaging. I’ve returned plenty of knives that I’ve taken apart. I definitely don’t get any special treatment for having a YT channel either.
