she’s a beautiful aeroplane. any mark has a extraordinary history. the P51 is great but the Spitfire is truly an iconic craft that will never be forgotten nor replaced. There is not a pilot on this planet who not want to fly one. I am 74 and have been licensed since. 14yrs in the US. it is still my dream to fly one here in the UK before I die. Thank you Mr RJ Mitchell for the gift of a lifetime.
