I have your video playing on the phone on the dash beside the speedometer. Not going to the exact spot where you were last year but my feet will be in the water within the hour. Cool jeep with the tubing and kayak and all. FYI, I think somethings in the regulations this year about using circle hooks only. Probably the flounder situation. My circle hook Mike accidentally get slammed in the tailgate and bent a little. Accidents happen. Love the flat fish. Whiting are good too. I live in Carthage. 5 miles 6 miles maybe from Pinehurst #2. So not a bad drive. I’ll be doing a lot of fishing this fall. It’s been a while. Had a baby a while back. Getting easier now. I keep it really simple. A little different than you but The basket…Very cool. What was that? Fried food strainer of some sort maybe?. Might see you on the beach. Take it easy

on the sand fleas you know that little chest plate if you hook Thro that first and come out the back of it it holds better than just the shell. I love fishing carolina beach and Kure I’m acutely going down tomorrow

I use the lightest possible pyrinad weight that will hold yo the bottom and not move much. Can vary from 1 - 4 oz. Hope this helps!

Before gates were put up I would be sitting on my trucks tailgate eating a breakfast sandwich drinking coffee then tear into a cinnamon roll while watching the sunrise. Then when all that was it was game on. I usually went just to spend time by the ocean. If I caught something it was a bonus.
