@@Jesko. no I’m not. I’m talking about storyline aspect. He has to be powerful of course. But as far as storyline goes it seems it will be him that’s standing in between Luffy and the One Piece. Since the story is based around the One Piece it’s safe to say that in the end, Blackbeard will be the best and most powerful villain that Luffy has to face. Fact of the matter is, he has no honor or respect, which means he will do whatever is necessary to get what he wants. No other villain has shown that characteristic to extent Blackbeard has.

Blackbeard is just toying with Law, and in general has been toying in every single battle which was shown to us. Law is not significantly stronger than Kidd, look at what Shanks did to Kidd, and remember that BB and Shanks were on about even terms even before the two overpowered devil fruits. I think it's just clear that BB is so much stronger than we were led to believe, but because of his scheming he doesn't want the world to find out about his real power yet. The fact that there is something weird going on with BB was explicitely foreshadowed when Luffy and Zoro first met him and by his jolly roger, but people seem to ignore it.

thank the system one piece is produced, every single week releasing an episode instead of being produced seasonally, that way, some weeks the animators are going to be able to animate it very well, the other they will only be able to animate it poorly due to investing too much time on the previous episode, because every single week they need to pump out another of these. If the anime was adapted to release only seasonally like many other anime, they could work really hard on every single episode, and the writters wouldnt have to count the pages that they can use on an episode in order not to get too close to the manga, also solving the pace problem. But it will never happen, they are for some reason proud for releasing it every week for so long, even at the cost of producing a mediocre anime
