yeah, u r super right. It's better to know the thought process of the artist from which people can learn. It cannot be considered copying or anything if u decide to follow the same process all the time. Bc Leonardo Da Vinci could teach you something but it cannot be the same, bc you simply arent the same person ehem anyways life is made to learn by imitation so seeing all the steps really helps to learn them and apply them on ur own. Kuroshiro is one of my favs art channel from the style to the simple explanations.

human art always > AI Art. i am so so happy you haven't stopped drawing. And I will continue these videos to hopefully remind even more people on that. I think the joy of creating something with our own hands can't compete with any 'seamless' looking output an AI can do. So the own enjoyment and fun is the most important :)

You really are a good content creator, Kuro. I don't know if I was the commenter that made you think of this, but I did leave a comment on a community post you made before you released your last video before this one, in which I talked about how it would be good to see slowly and clearly the decisions you were making inside of the software, as well as you naming tools that fit better to each role. Only a video later, you've already implemented all of that and the results are awesome, outstanding work. Also, your video editing skills have been improving! You're helping a lot with this, so I just wanted to thank you for your work. Additionally, it's great to see Arlecchino bearing that trademark Kuro face now! Helps me get inspired ;)

Thank you very much. Actually faces are the hardest thing for me and it's just luck when I get it right on the first attempt. @kurohshiro Жыл бұрын
Hey! Thank you :) I don't quite understand your question but I do the rough colour layer to be able to do the shading on one single layer first before I clip it to the separate ones In order clean things up. The advantage is that you can have nice and unexpected colour variations When you draw everything on one layer first.

Do you just know/how do you pick what colors you're going to use for the color rough? Like at 7:30 you already have them on your canvas. I end up color picking from references when I get stuck. That's crazy how you work all in one layer for that part, I get bogged down with separating layers for everything lol
@kurohshiro Жыл бұрын
Hey! I made a video about how I colour things. But usually I pick from my references as well and tone it down or make it more Saturated to fit my colours. When you know this part is for example red then I look through other people's art and oberserve how they shade and colour red parts. Studying from Art styles and artists you like helps to improve your own vision of what colour you have to chose :)
