That’s a nice tone of green and it’s unlike anything else in your collection, so a good addition. I really like Nagoya Hida, but only if they knock a zero off the price.

Congratulations on your new piece! I got mine just a couple days ago too. We in HK must have been last on the delivery. The dial is absolutely stunning in person. I believe the dial is dished - I remember seeing a technical drawing on their website showing this.

I'm usually not into these smaller brands but this brand, I find myself really wanting one. Beautiful watch, everytime they're sold out before I can get one. Hoping I'll get lucky one day

Have it too. Very beautiful piece. Maybe 1-2mm bigger would be better but otherwise a nice piece. Downside is the caliber. But that’s too much of complaining 😅

Which has a better movement, the new King Seiko or this timepiece? Also, the leather strap?

We’re scraping the bottom of the barrel a bit comparing those movements but if I had to choose I’d say the 6L35 is nicer as the rotor is a lot more discreet and the power reserve longer. The rated accuracy is also tighter. I kinda like the strap quality of the Kurono in fact so it’s one point each.

Hello mate, sorry for that, just found a few mails went to my spam somehow. Not sure which one was yours but will try to reply to all quickly. I didn’t get the toki, my credit card has decided to all purchases had to go through their mad confirmation procedure that takes long minutes so I ended up a minute late. Anyway tbh I’m not keen on waiting a year for a watch. I think their selling model has reached its limit.

Could you tell me a bit more about the movement? Why is it so special ? I know it rapped in a nice Japanese cloth and box, but paying a Rolex price you got to get something really special inside that shell right?

Ain’t nowhere near Rolex money man, it’s just a couple grand and inside is the high grade (I know, as if there was such a thing) Miyota. It’s about the styling on this one but the components are quality nevertheless. And as usual, nobody’s forced to buy it but if a lot of people want it, there’s gotta be a good reason for it.

I like the Japanese characters (kanji) since the brand is Japanese, and I dislike the "German gothic font" in the Grand Seiko branding, they are not Europeans.
