Kurono Cancels Watch Flippers' Warranties

Kurono has indicated that it will cancel the warranties of anyone found to flip their latest Seiji watch within the first six montths of purchase. They have also indicated that they will not honour a warranty claim from anyone other than the original purchaser if made within the first six months.
This video discusses Kurono's plans in relation to watch flippers / resellers, whether those plans are likely to work, and whether other manufacturers (i.e., Rolex) could employ such plans to reduce watch flipping.

You bring up some good points about warranty legalities, and gifting scenarios. Perhaps this is just Kurono's aspiration and something they won't act on? I don't know too much about this watchmaker other than this is his lower-cost brand. Are his watches really that good? Is there really a big demand for them?

Agreed. Flippers are a pain, no doubt. But quite frankly...if I buy a watch, or anything for that matter...it is mine. I will do what I want with it. Wear it, smash it, sell it...get over it.

These guys are a very delusional and arrogant company. They want people to pay for their watches and then tell them what to do with it afterwards?!
