I have this watch. It is a stunner and an uncommon Speedy. The bracelet is fantastic and the watch wears very well on my 7.25” wrist. The lume is wearing down given its age but that’s to be expected.

It said as an overall steel that OP where heading towards making in house movements in their line up. Panerai f@@@ed up on a few occasions, this is well documented by Perezcope and jory over at the time teller. Let’s move on shall we?

I wish the bezel rotated like the Rolex GMT Master-II but this is still a nice 28,800 BPH Swiss GMT watch. I have worn mine in the pool many times. Works great and keeps excellent time for me within =/- 2 sec/day even though it's not COSC certified. Mine has the newer clasp with the 2 push buttons, no safety lock, and TAG HEUER engraved in it.

I wonder if them using the ETA movements has something to do with why the exhibition caseback is less common on the Auto's around 2010-2024.

Hi , I would like to validate something that I have read recently on the Tag Heuer forum : The label of Forty and Forty Five is on the Carrera Calibre S Laptimer Retrograde is spelled wrongly on the watch. I went through a Tag Heuer forum and it was stated that this is a manufacturing mistake and only 500 of such models made it out before the error was corrected. Can you shed some additional light or comment on this please.

I own one of these, Battery has lasted six years so far, and it's a beast. Amazing accuracy, at least 10x more accurate than a normal quartz.
