Love how humble these masters are, when combining and teaching techniques. We need more teachers like them.

Well if it's an Asian style the teacher is supposed to be humble.

@@Aaron-sy5yx can you please not MMA is a technical degree in fighting. It works in most cases but there's things you can learn from other styles. You are ironically close-minded
A refreshing perspective, to hear Japanese master(s) explaining/demonstrating about Chinese Kungfu with such insight. (And I consider Jeet Kune Do a form of Chinese Kungfu as well ... I mean, at least the name of the art is in Chinese, haha XD). Somehow, hearing it all in a different language and manner (besides Chinese and English) adds a new layer of inspiration for me. As Mr Miyahira says, "it's hard to explain". Haha! Thanks for sharing ! :D
Soooo good! Love all the videos! Seeing it slowed down really shows how airtight the motion is. The demonstration with ting jin was incredible -- as an observer it was easier to understand how to block too when seeing the defender's eyes closed, because the focus becomes the point where their bodies make contact.
I just stumbled upon this channel, and stunned because of its quality. No nonsense and out of shape masters, only real masters with practical and pragmatic skills

Very impressive. This Tai Chi master is legit and so is the JKD. Now these are masters who actually demonstrate the technical aspect of movements not just talking and showing you fake self defense moves.
Myahira Sensei is....😮 I have NO WORDS for him! His knowledge is universal!!! A true master of combine Body & Mind! Really, I've never seen a MASTER like him!!!🙏🏼☯️💚
If the eyes are closed, there is like a Zero Mind State because you have nothing to see and make you think of When or How the opponent is going to attack which thus clouds the proper Reaction and causing the delay. In other words it is the Reflex movement of the arm in this case of the video, with visual inputs the brain has to process the thought which takes some time. Like feeling a hot object you immediately withdraw without even seeing it or thinking that it is hot. Very nice demo.

Professor T. Miyashira was at a table with TV journalists from Japan and the kung fu practitioners were defeated one after another when facing the Kio kushin Karate practitioners. It was very embarrassing.

In Malaysia where my kung fu instructor came from mas oyamas top students got defeated by master phan, the Malaysian full contact coach, that was probably early 70s, my style uses pok kik as a base, it was formed by choy li fut master just for fighting, no forms.

These exercises are wonderful and powerful and require focus, and my question to you two wonderful trainers is there in the world of martial arts what are called dangerous points in the human body or the deadly touch dam mac
@franciscoscaramanga93962 жыл бұрын
Dim mak is very difficult and not necessarily worthwhile. Chi meridians vary from person to person; you can just hit someone instead of trying to strike a meridian. Learning meridians is good for acupuncture, not necessarily fighting.

Just normal. The brain doesn't have time to react at such short distance. When you stand still and in a position within arms reach, there is no way to stop an attack no matter how trained you are.

Errado. No mesmo vídeo você pode ver. O golpe em linha reta é sentido e bloqueado. O golpe em elipse só é notado quando volta.

Surely any of they will loose under a mma scenario. They are teachers, not warriors.
Ok ok , now remember that Bruce Lee was training with the legendary Ip man and he went in USA and got beat up from other martial arts experts he took the decision to neglect what he learned started practicing other martial arts that lead to Jeet Kune do. Seeing this reminds a choreography , if something goes wrong everything will go wrong, you stand here you do this now , we saw what happened to masters like this in other videos

Feels like this is the sticky part of the sticking hands that's not always taught
I think that people who don't practice internal movements cannot understand it easily. It is not even a technique, but it involves the mind and the movement from inside.
