The road running east from Gluszkovo is already under Ukrainian fire control. The bridge(s) over the Snagost river can be taken out at anytime. This would isolate Russians troops south of that river from reinforcements, as well as being able to remove Russian equipment from that area. Capture of that equipment seems inevitable. Capture of many Russian troops seems likely, and the risk of their encirclement is a real threat. ... I have followed Reporting From Ukraine for a long time. I strongly suspect they are a publication of Ukraine military. Yes. I do believe they are very accurate. (The same videos are are posted in French and German languages.)

I enjoy your updates and analysis. My only complaint is the use of the word Blitz to describe Ukrainians movements. 3-4 days to move 8km doesn't seem like a "Blitz" to me, except in comparison to Russian attacks. An advance yes, but not a Blitz.

Could you explain to us what the benefit of Ukraine taking Glushkovo district is? Where can they go from there? Ukraine got stuck in front of Korenovo since the beginning of August, but now suddenly after they lost their Western flank in Kursk, they will push further into Kurst from Glushkovo that is surrounded by rivers? Sounds like a legit plan. Especially since Russia lost 20,000 troops in Kurst according to OSINT, right?

Your map is not upsetting people because they show Ukrainian gain, you use maps that show what you want to se, you do not cross reference between Ukrainian defense departments map, neither no Russian mappers and youdo not compare.m with geolocations. He can say whatever he want, it’s not a gain until it’s proven gain collaborated by several sources. Take DP Asia or Willy OAS as an example, they map after Ukrainian MOD and geolocations. If this was true, we would have seen geolocations from both sides. Veseloye as an example is not taken according to Ukraine daily military briefing. Your analysts is based on beliefs, wishes and hopes, not facts, it’s like your video yesterday…Swedish steel, seriously? The first CV-90 burned this night together with a Marder and a few other.

@mrcastodian there is a reality here you dont realize, there is fog of war, and everything is not going russia's way if you even look at comments by russian bloggers who say the russian offensive is bogged down in snagost. and no they did not capture darino either. if you like russian propaganda maps without any evidence other than russian bloggers or russian mod making things up to make russians feel better, then go to dpa, dima at ms. the reality in southern gluskovo is russians moved most of their force there to snagost offensive and it left the russian rear open to attack. in addition russians cant supply alot of troops south of the river because the bridges blown and pontoons are being taken out. also russians in kursk near the border up to korenovo are subject to ukrainian drone, artillery, himars and air strikes by ukraine using jdams as we have seen in videos. so you are living in some fantasy land if you think the russian army in kursk are gonna turn into some elite mechanized force. they are not.

@@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone alot of what russians doing in ukraine and in kursk is dictated by the coming of the mud season. so whether russians take huge casualties is irrelevant as for them losing 100 russia soldiers for 100 meters of gain is worth the cost as they are trying to take as much territory before the us elections for putins last hope of a trump win. as well the mud season is coming.

@@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone in terms of glushkovo ukrainian gains is likely higher than the maps showing by isw or noel. reason being in mechanized warefare you dont use your vanguard force to take strongholds in towns and get bogged down, rather you move around them and leave a force to interdict supplies. the main goal is getting to the supply roads around glushkovo to cut off russian supplies. so its very likely the ukrainian vanguard went past veseloye to take the 2nd russian defensive line before the russians could reinforce it with troops. we are not talking long distances like 30km. its very probable russia didnt have a huge force of troops to cover the entire areas to glushkovo so ukraine just went foreward to critical points with their vanguard force. glushkovo doesnt even have to be captured, you just have to be in direct fire of the supply road in either direction west or east. then you just zero in your artillery at certain points on the road to fire when troops close by spot movement.
