You know, i dont listen as much to Foo Fighters as i used to, but the Hanukka specials, i never miss them. We dont get much special stuff in our holidays, no one tells us happy new year on Rosh HaShana or happy Pesach. In school it always made me feel so alone, most i got was a mocking from my classmates because i was absent for a special holiday, that between the regular hate and words i don't want to repeat. This is special, this is unique and makes me feel like we can be seen too, a little, even if its a small holiday, its special. Thank you for giving me a reason to smile every Hanukka, thanks for bringing us some light.

Beautiful, soulful voice with impeccable timing, and loved Dave's deft touch on the drums. Pianist in the interval though, needs to remember this isn't about him; his noodling was way out of step with the mood and timbre and distracted from Violet's tone. But, wow.

Ms. Ian- This song was released while I was in high school and, while I'm male, it struck a chord with me and with many of my friends. I was thrilled when At Seventeen won the Grammy that year against stiff competition, I must confess that I hadn't thought of the song in eons and, now, hearing Violet's rendition, I feel its timelessness. Oh my G#d, her voice! The control, the emotion she brings to her phrasing, it’s something that can’t be taught, she has her dad’s feeling of rhythm, if you listen for it, she syncopates the beat when she feels it but never loses time. I remember hearing her sing backup at her very first show. This girl is going to make her own mark in the world, I can promise you, just watch!

I think I first heard this song when I was in 4th or 5th grade, probably through my Mom. She was in college when it came out. I immediately felt seen. I still feel seen. It's a timeless friend. I’m sure I’ve heard this song 100 times growing up- but not sure I listened to the lyrics until today. My mother adores Janice.
