Breathtaking. Such an idiosyncratic, unique voice. The level of risk in his playing is other level...comping, voicings, use of open strings...unreal. Great flow on his lines too, so unpredictable. Total intimacy with the instrument...flawless

I don’t get this website. I went to the Facebook page and there were literally no comments or posts of student performances?
@jazzstudentculture53983 жыл бұрын
Hi Rob, You are absolutely right. The engagement from students have been minimal - honestly. But there were few brave participants and they were awesome:) I see two reasons: 1) We are a new independent, noncommercial platform and perhaps students will require more credibility on our end. 2) Playing a solo performance on your instrument is very challenging and recording it is also time-consuming - quite a long term project. BUT whoever is thinking of jumping on this challenge, please join anytime 2021/2022. Either way, with or without recording, I appreciate your comment. Good luck Rob. Peter

@@jazzstudentculture5398 I found a possible third reason. Watching someone like Rosenvinkel making such an amazingly beautiful and technically incredible performance is bound to shy away any student.
