A golden rule for you Kurt: wherever you go, always ask how much before getting any service! The question on itself will make them think twice before giving you a number which may get you go away. I apply this rule wherever I go, especially as a tourist. Because locals in low income countries think that 40$ is a normal price in the West for a haircut.

Its the same in most Muslim countries, Egypt, North Africa, Pakistan etc. and most non-western countries. Scamming is normal, they have 2 menus, English menu they charge double. If you look foreign, you get charged double/triple. A lot of people dont even know in most Islamic countries, they have segregation, like Muslim only hotels, Muslim only restaurants but nobody talks about it, This is why I dont have much time for minorities in the west who complain about "discrimination". Anybody in the west is charged the same, and prices are clearly marked. You can go to any hotel or use any service. I have no time for hypocrites who pretend to be pious, moral and religious, then all day they are ripping people off, scamming people, and discriminating against people. Im sure there are some good people, but I have no interest visiting countries like this, where discrimination and scamming is normal.

Hes not realised why they don't wanna be recorded lmao. The older women pretend they care to be paid for the "Muslim inconvenience" and the girls at the very end genuinely had a problem with it because they're sex workers. Don't get me wrong, I love his videos but, as a person, Kurt is a dickhead in many ways. The relevant way here is that he doesn't respect women as normal beings and always associates them with their old fashioned stereotypes, like here he assumes they're whining about being recorded cause theyre self absorbed. Him putting them as the thumbnail was wrong too. The older women, ok that's a bit cheeky of them but the two girls just didn't want to be seen by their relatives

I hope this is not your last stop in Marrakesh/Morocco. I'm a moroccan canadian , went there with my canadian girlfriend last year , I was shocked by all those scammers in Jemaa El Fna (the Souk in the video). I didn't buy anything unless the price was displayed publicly in any store to avoid being scammed. I recommend visiting Agadir/Essaouira/Tangier/Rabat. With that being said, the best part about Marrakesh is the luxury industry, luxurious hotels and nightclubs and restaurants, the market in the video doesn't represent the city , its beautiful but the people there are such vampires trying to leave your wallet empty. And onemore thing, you need a car to visit Morocco or you will skip the best parts of it.
