Shortly after my son was born in 2014 I randomly found this song through KZbin's algorithms. I played it for my partner (wife now) and we absolutely connected with it. My wife and I would sing (not very well) this song to our son to soothe him and help him feel loved. Today he is 7, and we still sing this song to him. It has even more meaning today as my wife has stage 4 breast cancer. She sings this to our son all the time. We recently explained to him that although we keep hoping and praying for a miracle, there's a chance that mommy won't be around while he grows up.
