Imagine you are a 48 year old father and your 13 year old daughter wants to go to a tour, you are a good father so you buy her tickets and a hotel and you drive her there. You get to the meet and greet. You go to the room in the convention center where they are having a performance. A 17 year old e boy tickles his temple and rolls his eyes. The e boy scampers off stage. That is all your daughter wanted to see. You feel accomplished because she is screeching for joy. But you also feel confused. You are unsure of what you have seen. You are unsure of what you just spent time and money on.

I guess I know what you mean, but on the other hand, honestly, so much things get capitalised on but most of the time, no-one is forced to actually pay for it. Those girls didn't have to, they wanted to. And they payed for it, now both parties are happy. Them with the meeting, the guys with the money. That's all.
@reco22075 жыл бұрын
@@lethfuil well "happy" is very relative, those girls are not just happy to see them, they idolize them and it's not sane. These e-boys use their fans to fill their greed and their narcissism, they accomplish their vile desir but they are not "happy".

@@reco2207 thats a stretchhhh, most of the girls just think they are attractive, and the eboys just make money off of that. Which has been happening since forever, hence boy bands.
@reco22075 жыл бұрын
@@adi-qf2wb You can find someone atractive and you can scream at him when he dances two second on a music. Ideolisation restrain you from rational thought, it's not sane for you. Plus, people tend to project qualities on good looking people so they project their fantasms on those boys, which again, is not very sane. But that's okay, we were all obssesive with something when we were young it would be unfortunate if they never grow out of that. and for the boys it's big big big obvious narcissism out here. How many time do you think they pass to just watch themselve and think "i'm attractive". How do you think they feel when girls scream at them just for existing ? and they capitilize on it just because they can, I guess maybe the greedy part wasn't realy appropriate but otherwise I didn't make a stretch I think.
@lethfuil5 жыл бұрын
@@reco2207 I agree with Analyn Marx. Sure, some girls are pretty hyper, almost insane, but we know that phenomenon from Boy Bands and Justin Bieber, and so on. Some overdue it, most don't. They're having fun, whilst they're young, and the boys -that are also young, btw - have fun too and make some money with it. We don't ban sweets, just because kids can get super hyper about unhealthy sweets and we don't dub the people, that sell sweets to make money, evil predators. See, saying that those boys are immoral and dangerous and what not, and the girls are their helpless victims is putting them in some...(damn, foreign idioms...) one shows prejudices against both sides. So. (^^') And that's not really good.

I know this was made years ago but, this really hurts. Hearing people saying "True Christians can't accept the LGBTQ+ community" because my sister happens to be a lesbian Christian. It just pisses me off to see her get harassed by other people because of who she loves. I may not believe in a god but that doesn't mean I can't accept people that do.
@kiralonely Жыл бұрын
As someone who's doctor is religious and her whole church marched against the anti-trans bills being passed about minors in my state, I can completely understand that. I'm sorry you sister has to go through that. I can't really conceptualize it as I am not you, and also am not religious myself, but I do have an idea and I have nothing but sympathy. I really hate the gatekeeping nature of many Christians, for one, even outside of bigotry, but especially with it included.

@@kiralonely respect to that doctor for marching and encouraging "anti trans kids" laws. It’s crazy we even have to march against this.
@aestheticallycold2478 ай бұрын
@@kimikoscult1948 trans rights for children isn’t saying children are going to go through with permanent surgeries while minors, it’s just things that can help them feel more affirmed and educated on it so they can find the vocabulary necessary to understand their identity and steps they COULD take if they feel they identify fully with being trans. There is nothing sexual or inappropriate about LGBT children. I knew I was a lesbian for my entire childhood, I just didnt know the words for it. I would tell me parents i had « boy crushes » on girls. When you’re a kid and have a crush it’s innocent. Now imagine you’re a kid and you don’t know much about gender but you KNOW that you feel and have always felt more connected with girls your age, and feel like you should have been born like them. It’s not always about your physical genitals it’s sometimes just about self expression and the way society treats you. Not all kids grow to get surgery, but having the option can be the difference between life and death.
@kimikoscult19488 ай бұрын
@@aestheticallycold247 yes i agree. Im bisexual and medically diagnosed with gender dysphoria so I know what you mean. But most "anti trans kids bills" are to ban sexual books in kids libraries which i support (because lgbt or not it shouldn’t be there) and banning transition for minors (because currently ((not where i live)) in some countries you can still ask to medically transition under the age of 16). So yes I do support this ban, and no I don’t support taking away the help children needs if they have troubles with anything :)
@aestheticallycold2478 ай бұрын
@@kimikoscult1948 most “sexual” books are simply just books that make the topic of sex and reproductive health accessible to older kids who are going into middle school and need to be introduced to the concept in a safe and child friendly way and in a safe environment, like at a library at school with adults present. And most of the anti trans bans actually do much more harm than good, many of them argue that it should be allowed for adult teachers to do genital “inspections” on trans or even suspected trans kids, to be able to OUT children at school or to their parents without the child’s consent, and many MANY more harmful legislative changes. And this is all just considering trans CHILDREN, not even a thing compared to the hate for trans adults in this country

@godsandmonsters46015 жыл бұрын
@@henryplce2225 idiot. You seriously think *anyone* likes killing babies?! Fuck no. Do you think girls get abortions because they're like "hey, I feel like killing a baby today yaaay" - *no.* Women and girls that get abortions are almost always heartbroken and feel guilty. Having an abortion isn't something you do for fun and it will most likely have a huge impact on your entire life - but sometimes it's necessary. I mean, first of all, rape victims shouldn't have to carry their rapist's child and be completely traumatized and humiliated all over again.Their life shouldn't be ruined because of something they didn't even choose for themselves. Or do you want an let's say 11-year-old to carry out her rapist's child?! Very "pro-life" of you - not caring about that poor girl's life that is ruined, huh?! And let me just tell you something: Even if there is no rape, no incest and no risks for the pregnant women involved - WOMEN ARE STILL FREE TO CHOOSE ABORTION IF THEY ARE NOT READY TO CARRY OUT A CHILD! It's their own personal choice! And if your wish comes true and abortions get "illegal", you're a moron if you think that abortions are just going to stop. The only thing that will stop is legal abortions: People will go right back to practising unsafe and dangerous abortions that could harm or even kill the women involved. Is that what you want? Very pro-life of you indeed... How about you care about the kids that are currently held in cages by the US government, how about you care about all those kids that are bullied at school and commit suicide, how about you care about the kids that get killed at school shootings? Because let's be honest, you don't give a fuck about them and their deaths. You just care about some fetuses THAT. ARE. NOT. EVEN. ALIVE. YET!! *because you want to control women.*

I’m gonna sound like an old person, but I’m so glad that I was a teen when it wasn’t possible for everyone to become famous yet. If you had an idol, they usually had some kind of skill, be it acting, singing or whatever. They were even often media trained as well before they started giving interviews or got any kind of platform to share their views. Nowadays we just have random teens who become famous cause they’re conventionally attractive and got pushed by some algorithm, even though they have no idea what they’re doing or how to handle getting idolized by millions of teenage girls. Of course I’m not saying that all famous people used to be good people or anything or that all of today’s celebrities suck. I just hope teens raise their standards when they choose who to look up to, cause it seems today it’s very easy to just accidentally hype some vile people

Neat There’s a big jump in commitment from watching his ads and buying merch. I’ve got a full time job but man, ouch. Patreon would be a middle ground; a buck a month is way less demanding. I’ve kind of been flitting between channels I like, doing one time donations for the most part. KZbin is screwing so many people between being ad friendly and copyright claims, but still, getting like a $20 shirt is a big jump.
@neat245 жыл бұрын
@@SunflowerSpotlight he ended his patreon a while ago. Watching ads isn't "giving him coin" considering if he gets claimed it goes to a third party. Just saying those are two separate things. I get it though

Neat He doesn’t always get demonetized either, and getting that revenue does still help him. It’s still revenue. It’s not like you buy merch or he never gets any revenue; “those are two separate things.” Maybe he doesn’t specifically have a Patreon, but my point was it’s quite a leap from little to no money on the OP’s part to buying merch, which is generally expensive due to it being made in relatively small batches.
