Always a treat to hear Michael ! Passionate, exciting and full of humor 👌💙 ! I love listening to his family experience, his childhood, his notion of parenthood and why he is single, without children, even though he would be a great dad 💙! And how he became an actor and as he said so well, you must ,above all, be able to do what you love in life and let go of all connected objects from time to time and truly communicate in the presence of the people you love, it’s important ❤ ! Thank you for receiving him ! I love Michael who is a brilliant actor, and he has multiple talents, his book is great 😊💙 and he is adorable !!

What u say about Michael is true , however on his own podcast when he answers questions from fans he comes across as obnoxious.

I love that you have a pie/food segment so much! Something so beautiful and intimate about sharing a meal/breaking bread with good people. One of my favorite quotes from The Princess and the Frog: “You know the thing about good food? It brings folks together from all walks of life. It warms them right up, and it puts little smiles on their faces." 😊

What a wonderful podcast! I live in a small city (Chandler) close to where Michael went to school in Newburgh. I knew of him in school. Always been proud of his achievements in life and listen to his Podcast. This was a delight to hear more of his upbringing, and his thoughts on getting older. Thank you!!!!

Yay! He's awesome! This is my official first watch/ listen because of Michael. That's not to say I don't want to listen/watch y'all. I've been a fan of you both for decades. I mean a couple of years cuz, we're all just 30 yrs rt?! But Michael has been my favorite since he started his podcast (since Smallville)- (podcast starters - Kevin Smith is my ultimate everything!!) Anyhoo, thank you! There's so much out there to listen to and can't wait to catch up. That being said, Michael is so honest about himself and has this way of bringing out other's "traumas" in a health and safe way. I have always appreciated his straightforwardness and get a kick out of his silliness. I love that he has no kids, like me, because we can see what parents don't. Although, cats are better than dogs in sooooo many ways. But animals are all great. Again, THANKS! INFJ

Hi guys, I only recently discovered that you both have a podcast, and it’s a fascinating watch. My mother Rose and I have watched SOA 3 times now and love it more and more every time. It’s our most favourite series of all time, nothing comes close. Thank you Kurt and Katey we really appreciate it. 🖤

Always glad I stop in over here...its crazy I was thinking right before this episode how I enjoy having something a little more grounded because I mainly just watch comedy, this episode really hits the in between spot for me...i have lost touch with my father between religious beliefs and addiction...thanks for the introspective inspiration!

18:30 Hitting home again, Kurt. My people, brother. Just like you and Mike, I grew up with that weirdly cold and emotionally clamped down family and never heard the words I love you with anyone in the family. Not even hugs. This show really nails the relatibility for me way too often. It's freaky, really, by how often.

Well remember they had to play a commercial at night " do you know where your kids are" to remind our parents we even existed 😂😅

Another great one guys! Just curious if you've ever heard of REN? Even if you hate rap, just read his lyrics, him Fighting with himself in his brain, the angel and devil, you might find some similar thoughts- HI REN is the song.

Great episode.. funny observation- Katey asked most of the questions, but Michael looked at Kurt about 90% of the time. It was a weird lack of acknowledgment…

35:25// as a suggestion. pick a time(s) of the day/night when emailing can be done. i like to choose after 10pm. then i go thru as many emails as i can until (done or) 11:30pm-midnight. then i stop for the night/day. leave the rest for the next night. and if they r not from a Client, i may leave them for a full 24 hours before i respond. sometimes there is too much emotion in the air, let alone in my (anyone's) head. so after some emailing i may need to stop, just to clear the air/head of emotion that MIGHT affect another email's content. We are told and expected not to laugh at farts. We always do, like laughing during prayer. Something funny happens, and you can't help it. Its funny because its not supposed to be.

i had/have 3 different kinds of pie in the fridge. i chose to take a piece from the Mixed Apple & Strawberry Rue-barb. two kinds of pie in 1 pie. it was good, but sweet. // the blueberry and pumpkin pies will be for later. thanks for another deep dive
