"Imo" tho, payback had a great story. It is a bit cringy but i have to say, this is one of the funnest and enjoyable need for speed game. Customization was cool but the performance upgrades was questionable. If you didn't play or have problems finding online speedlists, the upgrades wasn't that much of a problem. Yes, i understand some people do want to max the car out in Outlaw mods with speed, accleration, and boost but i didn't focus on that and raced slower cars for fun. I had replayed the story 3 times and in the 4th replay now. If i had to give a rating for Payback then it would be around 8/10 score.

IMO UNITEs handling overhauls are mostly abysmal, they try to appeal to everyone and in the process make all cars both too drifty and too understeery

For some weird reason both the cards and cash are server-side, so even if you delete the save game and start all over again you'll keep your currencies, even though it can bug the game, happened to me on PS4 when I deleted the savegame files lol

The tricky mechanic in Payback is more your car is powerful easier it is to drift. I don't know if the UNITE mod changed that.

I can't add the payback unite mod for some reason, I have a purchased payback from steam, I can add everything else except unite 1.0,domt know what's the problem
