mmm... I love the Kurzweil sound for pianos, strings, guitars and traditional orchestral and acoustic sounds .. I love to create dense and complex multilayer sounds on VAST.. but listening to this demo I don't feel they capture the spirit of modern electronic dance music sounds or styles ...

Sounds like a game machine. Is it the audio or does it sound real thin. Not the Kurz I have listened to in the past. I guess I will go with a PSR-S950 with lots of cool stuff on it, like real recorded backing sounds.

This demo does not do this machine justice, I've had my PC3 for about 4 years and have made beautiful, organic and original sounds by just learning some basic programming with the stock machine. Not to sound ugly, but these sounds are pretty bad, and to be honest, if I had listened with my eyes shut would never had guessed that was the PC3. I love electronic music, and this machine exceeds my expectations from hearing modern stuff to early 70's experimental. Completely original synth with endless sonic abilities, unfortunately not shown here I'm afraid.

I totally agree. I've had my PC3K8 for about 4 or 5 years... I have the Kore 64 installed but have never really got much out of it. The stock incarnation is still awesome. The above demo is very lack-luster and not a good advertisement for this excellent keyboard.

kurzweil should not integrate stupid dj-stuff on their high-end machines like the pc-series. Since the k2000 kurzweil is highly regarded, as they have the most life like sounding sounds.This crap sounds like pacman.It´s an instument not a spaceinvaders-karaoke-thing
