My rear camera work when key position is in run but not when vehicle running . It says rear camera unavailable when running . I put a master tailgaters handle camera in and a 2 pin yellow rca into pins 30/31 or whatever right at the end of the big plug top corner like people say to. It’s a 2017 1500 with the smaller touch screen. It’s working good when vehicle not running but doesn’t work when vehicle runs any idea?

Hey there i have 2013 Ram R/T, I had Uconnect RA4 with working Backup camera, I upgraded to Uconnect UAQ (apple/android car play) now my back up camera its not working, will this enable my back up camera again or do I have to buy a new adapter or harness? Thanks In Advance!!!

How do you know if everything you are activating is hard wired?

I bought hardware with a plug and play wire harnesses. If it didn’t come stock you most likely don’t have it.

I'm in the middle of messing with this right now. ATM, no camera will come on when I put it in reverse, and when I click on cargo camera, the tailgate camera comes on. I don't have a 3rd brake light camera installed yet. Any suggestions?

Took me a while to find out why dynamic grid lines don’t work and I found out 2016 and newer vehicles have dynamic grid lines 2015 and under only have static grid lines

What about doing a BCM software update from the dealer, I know 2016 and up trucks you can turn the tailgate cam on at and speed , I have a 2013 ram and I'm in the same boat as you, I can't get it to turn on over 10mph

Short answer....We don’t believe at this point Alfa can disable MDS There’s conflicting stories on this. Some have said their dealer has been able to disable MDS. The thing about Alfa is it will only enable/disable factory options..
