What I get from these type of story is: Never expose your unfaithful husband's infidelity because it will put shame on his name. Protect him at all cost, to save face, and just deal with it; allow it to slowly kill you inside. I don't feel sympathy for these type of ladies. If your status (with your husband) is more important than your self-love/respect then deal with it! -- I'm so glad our new generation is more independent and rather pick self-love/respect over a miserable marriage.

Her only mistake was loving her husband. When you've been with a man more than half your life, you're gonna fight for him regardless of what others may think. It's so easy to say that she should have blah blah blah. But we are not wearing or walking in her shoes. That’s the thing I hate about our culture. When the wife is not present at an event, they would dedicate a song and another woman to dance. Honestly, that’s disrespectful for the wife. It happened to me when my husband was the co-chair for the Hmong New Year at River Center (she was my cousin who won the pageant). They didn’t care even if I was there. SH**!

That’s one tradition I hate the most!!!! People if a guys wife isn’t present at an event and you dedicate a song to him, NEVER have him dance with another woman. I’ve personally seen so many marriages break or have issues over this!!! If the wife isn’t present then just dedicate but not force the guy to dance. I’ve made it very clear to my husband that he is never allowed to dance with anyone and to kindly decline if he’s ever put in that situation. Who cares if your relatives or the party host gets offended. What’s more important to you, your marriage or them. They call me “siab me” well I wear that hat proudly!
