That's right! And in case you are referring to that little thing on the seat stay: That is for attaching a dynamo

I have used a bunch of those shimano HG40 chains and I hate the sticky packaging grease that comes on them. Switched to Sram PC-830 because they are easier to clean and come with a quicklink. And they're cheaper.

It's true, the HG40 is more on the sticky side when it comes to factory grease

Absolute Period Correct Parts and a very cool Build *but the DHT's are unbelievable wrong* on that Bike. There HAS to go some 90s Style period correct Skinwall Tires on it. 5 years ago the search for Skinwalls was like the search for Fairytalke Sprinkles but since these years it should not be that Hard to get Hands on Skinwalls since they are trending again.
