Definitely not the kind of Playlist you should be watching before heading to Kuwait. But I enjoy watching this, keep them coming. Heading there next month 🤞, hopefully I'll also have some crazy tales to tell 😜

Aw, thanks! And good luck to you! 🙌 The Farwaniya Governorate area? I'm not sure if that answers the question 😅 yup! I'll be teaching the Iqraa American School - and yourself? 😊

i don't know how much is 7000 grand but I believe the limit you can carry with you to the airport is 3000KD if you have this amount or more you have to inform the airport or something like that , also the same with bank if you want to deposit 3000KD or more they ask were did you got that from so it will be a little bit harder to deposit the money

@@AimeeRebecca I love the stories that you tell. You have experienced a TON of things that most of us have not. I can't wait to hear and see how things go for you in Vietnam!

I teach in college and I have a few foreign friends who teach in schools there and they had the best experience in Kuwait, May I ask what was the area of your school back in Kuwait because I think you were unlucky and had a bad experience with one of the bad private schools in Kuwait which is by the way are very little compared to the good schools there that take care of their teachers

I once had a bank "misplace" a wire transfer for the 20% down payment on a home for about two days... I'm surprised I didn't have a heart attack my blood pressure was so high! My husband was peculiarly calm (like the fancy guy in your story), and I just about killed him 😂

I taught in both Kuwait and in China. China was worse - no English speakers and 80s style banks. I do remember getting 1100 KD in cash each month and stuffing it in our drawers. It took over a month to sort at a China bank transfer to USA - fortunately no such problems in Kuwait
