I have the new charging one and its great but the firmness of the joins and The way the head has two firm joints instead of one fully rotational join is a real inconvenience however still good quality just not completely worth the price. 8/10

I just received mine but it is really stiff. I mean it barely moves I have to really pull it. have you come up with a way to loosen the joints? By the way I bought mine from seeing your review.

Try WD-40 to loosen it. But be careful of how much to apply. I done that with past stands before to get rid of squeaks and it loosened too much.

It only shows the stand can only faceing to 270 degree. Can it make ipad to face down? can the magnet firmly hold 12.9 inch ipad weight entirely? For this price range, I am looking for the one that screen can be face down while you lying on bed. otherwise, better to get clip version and it is almost half the price.

Yes it works. (Might be too late) no matter how I rock mine it stays. FIRMLY. But if you want to attach it to your bed. DONT HAVE A SLEIGH TYPE BED FRAMe. Like me. Since it’s round it will twist the rubber.. just make sure you have a flat surface on you beds boards. (Boards easier to mount so you can reposition it when you switch the side your laying on.instead of just only looking straight up). If your not doing that tho you can put it in a close stand. But your restricted it that position/side. hope I was quick enough.

I had one, but the head does not tilt, so it was not level on my set up. I wish it had a ball mount like the clamp version.

There is no built in power or charging ability with this stand. So charging while attached to the stand would have to be through the USB-C port.
