Hi Tony, nice review! One piece of information no review of this stand refers to is that you can charge the ipad with the 3 pins connector and still use a usb-c to hdmi adapter to connect to an external display. I ordered this stand and I highly recommend it!

Any details on how the on-screen keyboard works while on this? I’ve heard since the smartphone pins are registering a connection it assumes it is a keyboard and hides the on-screen keyboard. Any video of that?

It's easy to work around this stranger: just go to accessibility and there's an option to make sure the keyboard always comes up in a text box no matter what.
