Another tip. Blowing stuff up, to either break it down into manageable scrap or to open it for the goodies inside, leaves ugly holes in the ground. Place them on the Teleporter Artifact pads. It doesn't take damage, no ground holes, and the remains of the blown up stuff are in an easy pile to collect. Is it weird that while reading this back to myself I heard it in Kuya's voice in my head?

a similar effect can happen if you hold whatever you wanna blow up as high as you can instead of using the nodes. it only works one at a time.

I know this is a slightly older video but with tip #9 my method for blowing up the caches is to get like 5 of them, bring them to my base, dump them in a hole, and only use one tnt to blow up the five. If your worried about one or two not blowing up you can also add hydrogen gas to make a slightly bigger boom.

If you dont have any dynamite, build a furnace near the exo cache box and place sulfer or hydrazine inside of it. when the furnace turns on it'll explode.........cheaper than building TNT sometimes! (and safer than being shot at by plants!)

Interesting trivia about tip #3 (fixing broken modules by packing/ unpacking them): Be careful when you pack a storage item, like a battery or a medium or large resource canister. If it was storing something when packed, it will be empty when unpacked. This is true for anything that stores power: small & medium batteries and vehicles with a built-in battery.

well sometimes it can happen with printers, but you can just "select" another recipe even if the tablet shows blank, the only thing i learned was the (i already forgot its name, yes.) soil block being attachable

For #2 - making platforms perfectly straight. I was using another method by using a leveling block. It has that holographic cube around it which is always facing the same way, so you could try to straighten platforms relative to the cube. It is a bit more tedious trying to align it but it got the job done.
