I would do 2 to 5 pages a day. Back in the first sketchbook i started this practice with i did around 10 pages a day, for the first week i thought i was actually getting worse at drawing and felt like i was really getting no where but when the second week started things started to make sense and things started to click.

@@xkira566 It's been going slow, but I finally found my "style", i didn't even have to come looking for it. Lines are getting cleaner, still a little messy still fiddling with inks for years made it easier to control and I can draw some stuff without using guidelines now. Keep at it man, It's only been 2 months for you and those early months to a year are rough. Just be consistent, and always draw what makes you happy but don't forget to practice your fundamentals.

Kuzo: "Here is how you practice. *Does multiple videos on the subject.* Perspective, shapes in perspective, anatomy. *Shows practice sketches how he does them* People: "Hey, Kuzo!! How do you practice??? How to get better?? I suck and I'm never gonna improve, I wish I could be as good at drawing as you!! Do tutorial on this (insert whatever specific subject)!" PEOPLE. He has literally given and shown his formula how he practiced/got better. Now if you actually use your brain a little...and PRACTICE what he has shown...*BOOM* improvement! There's no east way out, and sorry to say, but just listening to a video isn't gonna instantly give you the skills you want. It takes a lot of effort. P.S For those that keep asking for specific tutorials: if you want them that bad, go hit up his patreon!! This stuff takes time to make, and he's already doing so much.

Have you considered that maybe those individuals haven’t gone through his page to find those videos? Often times people comment the first or first few videos they find, instead of exploring the person’s page thoroughly to answer those questions for themselves. It’s not always that people are being lazy or impatient, although, I’m seeing people jump to that conclusion a lot and I would argue that that is a bit of a lazy or impatient thing to do in itself. It is also a bit condescending to tell people to “use their brains a little”, especially without fully understanding the perspective. I doubt most of the people asking, aren’t aware that practice is needed. They aren’t looking for an alternative to practice nor are they expecting that watching a video will instantly give them the ability (that seems like a ridiculous accusation to me) like a lot of people assume. They are looking for effective practice tips that may benefit them. The way one artist practices may not work for others. Also, some artists don’t have good practice skills or habits, not say the artist of this account is that case. So, exploring different practice approaches until you find the right one for you is key. My advice would be to watch various videos from different artists and try their practice ideas. It could also help that those who are familiar with the artist’s page could link those people the specific videos where he covers those questions, and then judge the reaction instead of assuming that they are looking for an “easy way out”, which seems to be a bad habit online. As to people being envious of others artistic ability, I wouldn’t take that too seriously. Heck I go through that from time to time my darn self. As long as they don’t stop exploring and practicing they’ll be alright.

I just randomly ended up here and gotta admit that I am having a flashbacks while watching your tour because its like watching my own current "drawings" sketchbook. I am ok with head shapes but I am still struggling to place face features to look normal mostly because I am still mostly trying to force them out of my mind instead of using references to learn them. I might even go back to drawing more often, even daily, cuz of it necause I have been at "occasional doodle" phase for months because it felt like I wasnt going anywhere but I guess I am wrong. But damn, it really feels like I am watching tour of my own sketchbook (just a first half or two thirds) while being narrated by someone else. Tripy.

It's great to see other sketchbooks that are messy and sketchy, I get a lot of comments from people telling me that my sketchbooks are too boring and have too many boring pencil drawings, but I'm pretty sure they're comparing what they see in my sketchbooks to what other artists "sketchbooks" look like (aka, every other page is like a fully polished finished piece), so this definitely helps with my confidence with my sketchbooks :) I started drawing daily around the 20th of December 2018 and since then I've finished 3 sketchbooks (something I've never done before in my life) and I've seen a lot of improvements in my art! I now also have a lot more time on my hands so I'll have to push myself to do more than 1 or 2 pages a day and maybe do 5 like you. Thank you so much for posting this, it's hugely inspired me to push myself a bit more now that im comfortable with daily drawing ♡

I am currently trying to improve my drawing skills and hitting a wall. I'm feeling pretty frustrated right now, thats why I'm watching this video, to hopefully keep my spirits up OTL I honestly feel so lost and don't feel like I'm improving at all. I don't know if I'm doing things right either when I'm drawing. Angles and prospective and depth its all so confusing, and drawing hands and feet it's driving me crazy I just can not get it down OTL. What references did you use? Sorry, I'm venting.
