The KVD 1.0 and 1.5 have served me very well in the Spring. I even caught my largest Largemouth on a 1.0. It was 19 inches long. Very well made lure.

I've been fishing the KVD 1.5 SB in Bluegill for the past week at various ponds in Central Indiana and all I can say is WOW! Much better bait than all the others in my box. Biggest so far is 3lb, but I'm just warming up! 2 days ago, I caught 4 bass with it in about an hour and also a 8" crappie. Couldn't believe I caught a crappie on that bait, but I did! Today I caught a little baby bass that couldn't have been bigger than my hand. No way he could have eaten a bluegill as big as that 1.5 bait, but he had high hopes! Just couldn't help but to chase that bait and bite it! Looking forward to a great summer fishing the KVD 1.5!

This is actually really accurate, this is the most affordable, and TOUGHEST squarebill i have ever fished. I abuse mine like no one else. I once broke a DT6, then two Digger 6.5's back to back to back swatting them on the water to clean the hooks off. I thought, "Man, am I really smacking these baits that hard? I don't feel like I am" I put one of my KVD 2.5's on and stood there smacking it as hard as i could for about 12 rounds....just absolutely HAMMERING that thing into the water and it never broke! i then went and ran it over broken concrete rip rap for the next 4 hrs and caught a ton of fish on it. I call these things my "Old faithfuls" also around shallow gravel ledges, that hunting action is so money. The real advantage is being able to cast next to the ledge without hitting it, and letting the bait hunt its way into the side of the gravel, and then it will erratically hunt the other way into open water. You can really tell what is going on when you dont have to be making sure it is in contact the whole time, this bait puts out a great wobble, second only to bladed jig. very well done sir!

You need more that have rattles. Same colors just rattles. Had a situation where I experienced no rattles 10min no bites. First cast with rattles caught two instantly. Every bait needs to have an alternate switch. With and without rattles. Even the magnum 8.0 which doesn't come with rattles at all. From the 1.0 or 1.5 up to the 10XD needs to have that switch. As you know KEVIN that's the difference when the school is turned on then off also. @kevinVandam Kevin Vandam That switch is critical. ADD RATTLES RATTLES RATTLES. PLEASE. Plus more sales. Lol
