Excellent tool, just bought one, has worked on all cars that I've tried. It doesn't test airbags, or ABS systems, but still ideal for the hobby Mechanic.

Hi! On my 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan the ABS light lights up now and then. Can this scanner tell witch sensor that causes the problem? The one I have doesn't. (a bluetooth device). Good video!

It's not for diesel cars or trucks for gas only u cant up update this scanner u need one that is up dated one so u update by windows 10 computer

my kw808 is ok but if more than 1 code I only see the first if I press down arrow every thing after flashes on screen for a millisecond before returning to menu screen. no customer service ignored emails stay away from this brand

I bought one. The box indicated memory/battery backup . What does it mean? Also why does it have a 9 volt battery compartment?

I dont know what it means win it say battery back up because one thing all the obd2 scanners I have do not take any battery what so ever maybe the one I have does try calling the company that made it or email the seller you got it from to find out what it means I naver heard of this before well good luck to you

Not really,,it reads only the engine when it's on....but I don't think that it delete fault's..like even finding a abs fault....

Have you car checked out auto part store like AutoZone thay do it free if there scanner there work then I could be your obd2 port may be bad but if there scanner works then it's your obd2 scanner bad or may not be the right one for your needs but start with a auto store 1st I hope this hopes good luck

Ok it's your obd2 scanner is bad I had a vgate it wood not read up on my car it blow up the same day but I will tell u bud I naver ever had any problems with my kw808 at all my best friend got the same one naver had problem yet there for all 96 and newer buy a other one u can get one every now and then it's bad on in the pile some ware good luck

I have had a kw 808 for 5 years and I am normally working on 1996-2010 model years most the time and usually it is the vehicle that limits the number of tests and not the kw808. I was thinking of buying a new meter a year or so back I thought this one quit bc the screen was blank but the ribbon inside came out a couple times and I just pull the screws out n put it in place. Still thinking of a newer scanner bc this dont do SRS cant recall if supports ABS but I wanted to update this scanner to see if it would include before buying another. for the 40 bucks i paid 5 years ago you cant beat this scanner as long as you know about the ribbon connection for the screen causing it to appear unfunctional until replaced. The cable to update is 10 bucks on ebay which is far better than $100 plus to buy a LAUNCH 431which is a great scanner too that supports srs or another scanner this competent. TO THE ASSHOLE CLAUDE COMEAULT that is bashing you Claude must not be much of a mechanic either or he wouldnt be searching thru videos about how to operate a scanner he would already no this. Joke is on you claude so fuck off you prick.

How can the vehicle limit the test that you to do with a cheap scan tool. A good one will do any test you want. Maybe it's the cheap tool that is using the scanner.

Hi sir I have nissan maxima 04, its shows codes found 1, but when you read the codes it diesnt show anything. Also it doesnt shows the live data. Is it somethign with my car or with the scanner?

Well I tell u what to do bud on this deal to find out if it's the scanner take it to auto zone or a place that will give u a free scanner up hook if thers REED good then it the scanner u got a bad one or 2 if there code reeder don't work then it may be a obd2 port problem and if it is the port going bad it will cost a small fortune to fix well I glad help u out and one more thing look at all the small pins in the port if thay are bent then try to re a line them back well hope this helps good luck
