The info was good but There was some kind of music throughout the whole video which caused trouble when hearing what you were saying at 2x speed. I could still understand it but sth was off with the audio (maybe it was the music) because I had to try harder than normal videos to understand. Looks like your channel is new so I know you'd improve naturally but thought to give some feedback 😁

Thanks for the feedback. Background music has been a struggle for me. It always seems to be fine on my audio levels when exporting. My next video I took it down about -8db. So please have a watch and see if it improves.

@@northernteslaI am sure it would have improved 😀 I also faced very frustrating issues with volume levels in the past so I can relate. Thankyou again.

kill the music completely please

Cool explanations, thank you. Now I’ve got to rewatch the video from the beginning, this time with a notebook and pen 😆 Thanks again 👍🏻

Awesome. If you could watch about 1000 times that would be great

Nice explanation. Is kilowatt also not metric and miles/horsepower imperial ? And then mixing them 🤯
@incognitotorpedo426 ай бұрын
Yes, kW is metric and miles is imperial, but since we rate our batteries in kWh and (in the US) use miles for distance, we are going to care how many watt hours it takes to go a mile. We could talk about how many miles per kilowatt hour instead, which would be more like mpg that everyone is used to. A kilowatt is 1000 watts, but you already knew that.

@@incognitotorpedo42 ok, thanks, I'm just mentioning it because I'm from Australia

At least one area where the US made the smart choice to use the metric system and didn't invent their own random units of measurement 😂
@northerntesla6 ай бұрын
Imperial doesn’t have a measurement for electricity. We use miles and km only in the sense that it takes so much energy to travel one unit.
@incognitotorpedo426 ай бұрын
It's not watts per mile. It's watt hours per mile. Kilowatts per hour is not a thing. There's power (watts), energy (watts * time = watt hours or watt seconds), and efficiency in energy per mile. (watt hours / mile; "/" is "per". Mathematically you divide watt hours used by miles traveled to get the efficiency.

So to make a 5 min video into 15 secs: -kW is a measurement of energy. 1,000 watts. -kWh is a measurement of stored energy, or measurement of energy used over an hour.

Some people need more explanation than 15 seconds.
