Kwikee gear and linkage replacement on RV steps

A piece on the linkage of my RV steps broke so I had to replace the entire assembly. Not hard to do at all. Remember to keep your steps lubricated and don't park close to curbs. Thanks for your detailed video. I found my step broken exactly like yours. your video gave me reassurance that it can be fixed by me. I've removed the gears and motor already. The replacement has been ordered and is due to arrive today. Thank you again for pointing out the exact size sockets to use. Saved me a lot of time and effort.

Great video. Just curious, could you have connected the motor to the linkage first, then connected the entire linkage assembly to the bottom of the steps that way you're not connecting those 3 bolts at such an odd angle? Or do you wanna make sure the arm connected to the steps before connecting the motor. Just wondering . Thanks again for the video.

Good stuff. Liked your video. There is one thing I noticed though: you didn't grease/Lube the Gear inside the kwikee motor gear box. Other than that, great video.
