I honestly think that if a new system is releasing really soon it will be a smart idea for Nintendo to announce a Star Fox game playable on OG Switch as well as a Switch 2!

New Star fox games for switch and also new star fox game with Krystal, Miyu and Fay for switch 2, star fox adventures, assault and command with Marcus dlc for switch?! I really hope this is true, @NintendoAmerica and @Nintendo, because we really do need a new StarFox game with a brand new story mode, with Fox, Krystal, Falco, Slippy, Katt, Miyu, Fay, Fara, Bill and Peppy. Fans have been waiting for this since 2006. Please make it happen.

Please let be a remake of Star Fox Adventure and Stat Fox Assault ! We want Krystal in HD ! My dream is Nintendo stealth release a remaster of Star Fox Zero on switch like they did with Prime and announces brand new Star Fox game that is a complete remake of both Star Fox Adventure and Star Fox Assault

It just wouldn't make sense in nintendos eyes. Why port Zero when it would be a pain, especially considering that the controls was the thing that made it unique. Best to forget about it and push forward again. This is coming from someone who understands the controls right away and 100% the game.

@@mykmon9213 Miyamoto said that he has no interest in making another Starfox unless he can come up with a new gameplay idea for it. This is why Zero has gimmicks because there's nothing left. He feels that SF 64 so good that he can't top it.

@@stefanoabbondanza5218 Miyamoto said that he has no interest in another Starfox unless he can come up with a new game idea for it. Thats why Zero was very gimmicky, because that was the only idea he had left. So Miyamoto most likely runout of ideas and wants to move on.

Using Switch controls to help pilot the ships has always been a way I feel would be a way to help keep things fresh when it comes to StarFox and would fit with Nintendo’s need to try something new with each installment of the series

Krystal will be back bruh lol. Nintendo loves her, fans love her, she was in Smash Ultimate and the developers of Zero said they'd like to have her in the sequel and the VA (both of them) would come back. Fox has a love interest which is Krystal. She'll be back

What put me off about Zero was that we're once again hitching its wheels on Star Fox 64 when they did that already 5 years prior with the 3ds remake. Nothing about it felt like a next step for Star Fox. I like the look of Adventures more, I like the music and story in Assault more, and no real multiplayer. Sure, there was that split duty mode with one player being the pilot and the other being the gunner. But the multiplayer in mind is competitive battle modes, and dog fights, Or even co op of playing as other pilots along side Fox. Makes me think, this game wasn't about Star Fox, it was about the Wii U. Hopefully A- this isn't a rehash and actually follows the expanded universe. -B It looks, runs and sounds smoother fit for a next gen game. -C the game feels true yet modern. Maybe takes a page of Assault, Star Fox 2 or maybe that Starlink game. -D has an actual multiplayer mode where we compete or work together.

Really hoping for a new game that builds upon Assault (and maybe taking the few good ideas from Command) in terms of story and gameplay. Not convinced they will though, so I'll save my excitement until an official announcement.

I'd love a new Star Fox. I'd be disappointed if it was Zero again in the context of another re-release, but I 100% dig a new Star Fox game, another reboot like SF64 or a direct a sequel to SFZ or Assault

They may as well make a sequel to Star Fox Zero and let it reintroduce Krystal into the series. Sauria still exists in the Zero continuity, so perhaps General Scales could be repurposed into a more traditional Star Fox villain using ancient technology to go from planetary warlord to galactic conqueror (possibly with Andross's assistance) - technology Krystal helps the Star Fox team use themselves. Besides taking inspiration from Adventures, they could also take cues from Star Fox 2 and have a more non-linear progression system and introduce Fay and Miyu into the Zero continuity.

Please be true and please continue the story past Assault. Star Fox has so much potential, and i hope Nintendo can bring the series back to it's glory days by expanding upon the solid foundation into something bigger and better.

@@kwingsletsplays The problem is that Arcade rail shooters are dead nowadays, because thier so short. The good news is that they still exist in indie games. For games like SF 64 there's, Ex-Zodiac, Astrodogs, Gridd Retroenhanced, Whisker Squadron: Survivor, Project Nimbus: Complete Edition and Astebreed: Definitive Edition. There's also the upcoming Omega 6 the game, written by star fox artist Takaya Imamura.

The only thing i disagree with is the new game going back to an exclusively Star Fox 64 style. IMO and as a lover of this franchise, the original StarFox simple on rails only gameplay is outdated and is in desperate need of innovation. Another reason Zero wasn’t received that well is because it was literally a 4 hours on rails shooting game at full price. You can have levels like that but I think an open world exploration type would be great. I also think fox should be returning to land again, combat styles similar to the guardians of the galaxy game with its team gameplay I think would work perfectly.

I honestly don’t know which handhelds it will be on. However I do hope it’s for Nintendo Switch, the only Starfox game that I played was Starfox 64. I had no knowledge about the Super NES one and I wasn’t really into GameCube. Like the only games I kinda played was Luigi’s Haunted Mansion and one of the Mario Party Games. I did found out like two years ago that there was a game for Starfox for the GameCube. Unfortunately I don’t have a one so I can’t play it. To be honest Nintendo should really remaster their games for physical copies. I know it’s time and money. But it’ll be worth it, that’s just me.

@@jamestrigg8290 For any wanting to play StarFox Zero listen carefully, don't play the main story first. Go to training mode and spend about two hours learning the controls, because the motion controls are kinda complicated. There's a minus button that swap screens and you have the ability to turn the motion controls on or off in the pause menu. It's easier to shoot everyone in first person mode, where as all ranged mode is easier for avoiding enemies.

@@jamestrigg8290 Be warned, If your going to play Starfox Zero. Make sure to go to training mode and practice. Otherwise the controls won't be second nature, thats how complicated they are. Make sure to use the minus button so you won't be forced to use two screens at once, because this game forces you to use the gamepad.

I want a starfox Assault meets StarFox 64 for a play time of 11 hours. Kid Icarus uprising is an on rail shooter and it gets a pass for being longer and gameplay variation. So same number of on rail/ all range plus the same number of on foot missions in Assault for 25 levels.

I think Zero is the best Star Fox game. It was way ahead of its time, and frankly, it was made in a way that assumed the players were smarter than they really are. That’s not to say gamers are dumb, but they didn’t do enough tutorials and guidance on how to learn the game. Star Fox has had this problem since the beginning. They hope you replay the levels and learn through trial and error. And some of the secrets in zero are so deep, I would have never found them if it weren’t for other players shooting for highscores with me. I think Star Fox’s problem is a communication problem. I definitely understand where they want to go. It’s an action game, it becomes more fun as you improve. But most people don’t know how to improve their play style. They just replay the levels and only become marginally better. You can go through the roof with your skills in Zero, and much higher than anything you can achieve in 64. I think they need to just slow down and show people how the game works. Most reviews of Star Fox games are half baked because the user doesn’t know what they’re doing. I say this as a guy who has had the world record in Zero. These games are amazing and they’re definitely not being communicated properly to gamers. I would also make the claim if you believe zero can be on switch, you didn’t understand the game.

The problem is then StarFox Zero which has a steep learning curve has to compete with Splatoon at the end of the Wii U. It was a battle that Zero couldn't win.

I would like another Starfox game because the first one I played was on Wii U and I was not impressed. I really think that they should release it as a bundle with the new system to act as an extra incentive to buy the Switch's successor.

Im not a fan of Krystal, i don't consider her canon because dinosaur planet was not intended to be a starfox game.

I mean Shy Guys weren't originally Mario enemies and yet people are perfectly fine with that. Also Star Fox Krystal is not the same as DP Krystal as she was scrapped but Imamura remade her into the krystal we know today making her a Nintendo Star Fox character.

@@ChubbsMcgoo Thats because Imamura didn't create Fara. Something like Star Wolf and Krystal continued to make appearances while Fara, Miuy and Fay didn't is because Imamura didn't designed them. Also Imamura and Miyamoto like her more anyways

@@ChubbsMcgoo She was originally a Rare Character yes but do to Imamura saving her from being scrapped, redesigning her and rewriting her, she became a Nintendo Character. That is why they were able to use Krystal a lot but a character like King K. Rool hasn't made a return in a DK game is because he's a Rare Character. A Rare employee did an art piece of some of their characters and it included the Dinosaur Planet version of Krystal. No Matter how you slice it, Krystal and Sauria is Star Fox and Nintendo
