Mutual fund को एक pizza के तरह assume कर सकते है । हम सभी जानते हैं कि Pizza बहुत सारे ingredients जैसेकि wheat, vegetable, aur cheese से बना होता है। और अगर हमें pizza की कीमत का पता लगाना है तो हम कह सकते हैं कि pizza का total price इसके ingredients plus overheads का sum total है।
Mutual fund की बात करें तो ingredients के रूप में wheat, vegetables और cheese की जगह stocks, bonds , gold और cash हैं
अब, अगर pizza की कीमत 1200 रुपये है। और मैं pizza को 6 slice में cut करता हूँ तो हरेक slice की कीमत 200 रुपये आती है। इसके लिए हमने 1200 के price को , number of slice 6 से divide करते है
Mutual fund के NAV का comparison pizza के per slice cost से की जा सकती है। इसलिए, जब आप mutual fund में invest करते हैं तो आपको fund के कुछ units मिलते हैं। और mutual fund के एक unit की कीमत को उसका NAV कहा जाता है।
