in some point you are wrong chances of promoting to officer is much higher in ibps , as I have seen clerk promoting to officer in 2 years in some ibps bank..... more than branches it depend on number of candidates applying for promotion.....

The time you join SBI clerk, it will already be around 1 yr of your service in Indian bank, you have to start all over again here in SBI, so think wisely before leaving

Same as that of a PO. The chances of becoming a TO depends on your hands. You have to clear jaiib caiib and after 3 years when you are eligible for promotion to TO . Then you have to take TO exam (which is not easy).
