From an evolutionary standpoint, it’s common for certain species to seek out mates that have different genetic characteristics bc their offspring could be born with a wide array of advantages. However, to close yourself off from dating any race, including your own, is weird to me.

Not really, it’s natural for humans to want to mate outside their own race since their children will have a more diverse gene pool. Dating inside your own race is closer to inbreeding, obviously it’s not inbreeding and you shouldn’t be worried about dating ur own race, but you get the point. The dude is still weird tho cuz he said he likes yappy girls and I feel like he was implying a certain stereotype about black women.
