Blue Moon was the first beer I ordered at the bar consistently when I turned 21. Funny story behind that; when I would order my blue moon they'd ask me if I wanted an orange garnish with it, I always said yes because it was the perfect garnish for the beer, however, I was at the bar with my grandfather who is 92 I believe, the manliest man I know, fought in ww2, does chores every single day of his life, is in better shape at 92 than I am in my 20s, and when he saw the Blue Moon with the orange garnish in it, he sighed and said "Fruit doesn't belong in a beer." I felt so ashamed for loving it.

Blue moon is a good choice! If you get it on draft with a orange, you can take a good drink and then squeeze the orange in and your glass will be full again!!

My first beer was a good old Budweiser. Yeah, it's bland, but it's easy to drink for a beer newbie. Even back then, though, I never loved it; it was just the first beer I could stomach. The first beer I actually loved was Guinness, and I honestly think it would be a good start for someone just looking to get into darker beers. It has those roasty and coffee-like notes you want in a stout, but without being overpowering. Guinness is still a beer I drink quite often. Anyway, good list guys. And I agree about SN Pale Ale being good for beginners. As someone who doesn't care for IPAs (I can appreciate them, they're just not something I'd choose to drink), I think SN Pale Ale is delicious, with just the right amount of hoppiness. Cheers! :)

Nothing wrong with a bud now and then. I just wouldn't go out of my way to drink one. Too many awesome beers out there!

Thank you for putting Shiner Bock on the list. It's the first beer I drank with my pops, and it tastes good in a can, bottle or draft! Keep up the good work, y'all!

Thanks, we would love to try shiner in draft. Haven't seen it around here in a while.

(Im 19 yrs old) I find it funny how our American legal system expects everyone under 21 to never drink or know anything about alcohol ( most people drink underage) and then often once someone turns 21 then they have a certain preference of different alcoholic drinks they like and its like oh well then you must have drank underage and ya of course that person did otherwise they wouldn't have any preference, anyway Ive been to 3 European countries where I could drink and America is a bit alcoholically confused, love yalls channel by the way, from a follower in Texas

Im not a big drinker but when i do it us usually with food. I usually grab for shiner bok but i find that its too hoppy or spicy to my likeing to drink with food. So im kinda on a journey to find a good brew thats light and refreshing to drink with food. Any suggestions.

How are any of these beers good starters? None of them are very popularly bought or well known, u have to be a one in a million type of person to buy these beers, typical starter beers where I live are as follows: Natural Light, Busch, Busch Light, Bud Light, Budweiser, Coors Light, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Coors Banquet and maybe Miller High Life, everything else is fancy, we keep it simple in the Midwest, and to a last note, I would drink a bud over anything on this list any day cause of one thing: Patriotism, Budweiser is the most patriotic beer in America and I love the messages that come with it for the Fourth of July an what not, always my favorite no matter what
@kybrewreview2 жыл бұрын
Most of these beers are readily available just maybe not in your state, beers like Hamm's is made by Miller and has been around since the 70s and available in 44 states, yuengling is available in 25 states. We chose all our beers based on availability, price and neurtalness in flavor.
@coreyswan47472 жыл бұрын
@@kybrewreview never heard of those two beers, and there’s a lotta miller products in Michigan, I’m jus saying from my perspective that in my area only a couple of those beers are available everywhere
@kybrewreview2 жыл бұрын
Well we can't keep every tiny town happy, there are literally 1000s of breweries in the U.S. over 100 just in our home state alone, and I know Michigan has more than us.
