Kyes car is essentially a pro mod. Why do you guys keep getting so caught up in that shit. You think this is a mild steel camaro? Its a pro mod chassis(minus the stretched front wheel base) and two steel quarter skins and a roof skin, there's zero stock Camaro body structure in it at all. There is nothing else different. Tire sizes, powerplant, even weighing within the minimum and maximum of the pro mod class. That being said, his Camaro is what Pro mod should be. You should have to keep 100% of the stock proportions of the car you are building. No fudging them at all. All lights should have to work. Period. Pro mod now is just a slower and easier to get into funny car.

@JayMac Been watching pro mod since it started in the late 80s and no, just having a steched front end does not make it a pro mod. That's an altered. Just like putting small tires on a radial vs the world car doesn't make it a small tire car. The chassis cert on kyes car is the same as the pro mod class cars, jis car has to meet the rules and if it does (obviously it does) the its a pro mod. Can't run in the class if you aren't. The fact that he is winning against these chopped, squished, narrowed, and streched cars is a testament to his skill and crew getting the chassis to work right. Its like getting outrun in your drag car by big wheel race cars like donkmaster. To call his car anything but a race car with big wheels would be wrong. His black car used to be a street car. Now its a streetable drag car with wanna be show car looks.
