I believe to older Pro Mod spec's the Shocker might have been certified...but with todays cert requirements I don't think it would pass. So I have to agree it's a Super Gas or Super Pro, but at least it has working lights. Big Chief is basically just running a Dragster on the street, but whatever works. Just remember, no matter how much horsepower and torque you have...you still have to make it stick to the road. That's something Kye's car has always done. You can have $200k worth of parts and equipment, but if they aren't compatible and don't work together, you're just pissing in the wind. And if you have 4000 hp, but can't make it stick, you're just smoking tires.

Why does everbody hate on kye? His car was a promod about ten years ago. But today's promods are alot diffrent. So calling it a super gasser is accurate. far from pro mod. wheelbase too short. pro mods are double framed railed. floater rear ends. 34.5 rear tires,dual chutes. list goes on. u take a nhra sanctioned pro mod engine and stick down in shocker and u would see it sideways or on its roof. he MAYBE is getting 1.10-1.12 60ft,where a pro mod usually dumps a .9** 60ft. so saying and being is totally opposite
