I think it’s crazy to blame the entire murder on Gypsy considering the “autistic boy” willingly killed Gypsy’s mom. Regardless of her mental disorders, it’s obvious if you have a mom that put you through what Gypsy’s mom did, you’re not gonna come out of the situation unscathed. You’re gonna have ptsd, anxiety, trauma and you’re gonna inevitably pick up traits from that person whether you like it or not. As someone with a mom who was extremely toxic, I would swear up and down I was nothing like her and would never be. Reality hit me and I realized I did pick up those toxic traits, I did do things she did and didn’t even know until years later. Not only was Gypsy controlled by her mother up until her 20’s, she also was in jail for years and has barely been out a year. She hasn’t had time to realize she’s recreating her mother’s mistakes and she probably thinks this baby will have a much bettter life than she did. I’m in no way trying to make excuses for Gypsy because she has done wrong, but calling her a murderer 24/7 and saying how horrible of a person she is is insane. I guarantee you if you have one kid raised in a troubled household and another raised in a healthy household, the outcome of the children will be extremely different. You can’t expect someone who only saw trauma and toxicity to just know how to be a normal person.

Even the doctors that treated Gypsy said she didn’t need the medical treatment that she got but her mom didn’t listen. She’s literally perfectly healthy now which wouldn’t be the case if she had all these illnesses her mother claimed she had. Even in the crime scene photos you can see her wheelchair and there were pictures of her as a child in medical gear and her head shaved.

The baby shower was cute, imo. I think we got too far away from reality and too far into trying to impress. The point of a shower is to celebrate and help the parents to be lessen the expense that comes with a new baby. Not spend thousands to impress.
