Man Kevin , you handled that interview like you’ve been doing them for decades ! Your right Kyle was mellow and pretty candid with his answers , kudos to two warriors !!

BEST possible addition to the Fox booth this year. Kevin is indeed a natural at announcing and interviewing. So thankful he's there to counter balance the ever irritating, down-home, obnoxiously opinionated Clint Bowyer.

There is a scene I couldn't have possibly imagined 15-20 years ago; Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick sitting in a room together not only be civilized to each other, but actually offering compliments with genuine sincerity! Fantastic interview. It could be stated truthfully that I was far from the most fervent Harvick fan over the course of his career (though admittedly I did find myself rooting for him in later years), I really like what I see out Happy so far in his new endeavor in television. A genuinely honest and confident approach performed in a well prepared manner. Of course that is exactly what I had expected because those were also traits he held in his driving career and never were anything I faulted him for over the past couple decades. I believe Mr. Harvick will be exemplary in his new role, much as he was in the last one. KUDOS!

I think Kevin and Kyle have both grown up a lot and I think parenthood and being a role model to kids has helped both of them as well. Definitely would not have had this on my bingo card 20 years ago like you said.

Huge Kyle fan. My first race ever attended was the Daytona 500 this week. I listened to Kyle and his spotter on the scanner radio. It's fascinating to listen from that perspective. One thing that I laughed at is what Kyle said when being behind LaJoie, "I don't trust the 7." 😂 16:04

What Kyle said about the switch to RCR is personally why I like him more these days. TBH I could care less what car he drives. He's always been super talented. It's been his attitude. That's been the sticking point. And I think its pretty apparent that the more relaxed atmosphere at RCR has done him a world of good on that side of things. He just can't let it affect his performance on track, which I haven't seen a big drop yet. So I five him all the credit in the world because hes changed for the better as a personality in the sport.

I think Kyle is one of the ones that is so good he pushes the car past where most people can handle it. If the car is capable of 100%, and will absolutely crash at 106% he will drive it all day at 105%. For 3 hours in traffic its amazing to watch!

He is an absolutely amazing driver with a ton of skill. He will take a 21st place car and run top 5 with it. He's just that good, and that's why I love him as a driver.

Great choice for your “first” interview. Both of you have driven for different teams (and both RCR) in your careers, owned teams, won at least 60 races, are future Hall of Fame members & are raising the next generation of racers in Keelan, Piper & Brexton. Pretty darn cool to look at the similarities of the grownup versions & realizing that your pasts are both fiery (it just looked better on you 😉) You both have awesome wives by your side - maybe that’s what made you so good.

You realize, when you hate someone, that says more about you and your own character defects, than them. No one can make you feel anger, hate or other feelings, you choose to feel that way, because you don't have control over them.

I was a long time Stewart fan Kyle filled the void and with his personality starting to change a few years ago the perception change didn't happen as quickly as Harvick thinks he just didn't notice it until then.

now that kyle has to teach brexton the ins & outs of being a great driver & company asset, it incentivizes him to be a good example.not to mention everybody matures with age.people have to remember, nascar changed the minimum age of drivers because of kyle.he was 16 or 17 his first truck series race.then the rule was changed.

5:18 is living proof that Kyle Busch success only came from illegal cars. Because once he got caught or told no he fell off. NASCAR got more strict in 2020 to now and the results speak for itself. Kyle Busch is definitely not one of the top drivers to ever come into nascar.
