@@1madmaxx80 why, because of the Tavares signing? I think that's really the only questionable decision he's made, and even then, I can't blame him for making it. Fans would have been mad if the Leafs didn't get Tavares, and even with all the teams competing for him, Dubas still managed to get him to sign with Toronto for millions less than he was offered elsewhere.

Leafs fans have a tendency to overrate their team, but this time it's warranted. Never been a Leafs fan, but Dubas is making amazing moves, no idea how he's managed to stay under the cap, and the Leafs have a serious chance this year.

This team can now skate, hit, score AND stop the puck. 3 outta any 4 games. Got the right mix of pieces. Got to be hungry enough to go get it. Veteran desire is more infectious than covid. Southerners gonna be surprised. And they're not gonna really know what hit them. If they can gel, stay healthy and keep it fired up, expect them to go deep.

Nice trades but Toronto's power play is brutal and it could cost Leafs close games like in Montreal tonight. Nylander at the point with Matthews and Marner and Simmonds and Foligno in front of the net for the power play.

Foligno was the only good pick up. Rittich is no better than Hutch and Hutton is a 7th, 8th dman - Dermott is all around better. Foligno is huge though, big game changer.

I'm glad Dubas reaffirmed that the goalies that are playing now are to SUPPORT Freddy not replace him. So many haters out there, so I'm glad Dubas and the rest of the team have Freddy's back and so do I. Health is wealth its the most important thing for him in getting back to playing solid like his old self. He hasn't been right all season.
