I am a 83 year old two tour Vietnam vet and have seen a lot of people lose their lives, doing what their country asked them to. I for one agree with the verdict and thank everyone involved in a case that never should have been. Kyle was scared when he was being chased by those people, and he was even more scared when the verdict was being read. Hope I didn't scare anyone when a let out my scream "yes" when the verdict was read. I earned a purple heart for each of my tours in VN when I was medivaced. You sir, have earned more than a purple heart for your service, you earned the everlasting love from Kyle and his family and especially the people of America. GOD bless you and your team. And, did you notice his mother’s reaction to the first count of not guilty? You can see it in some videos. She jolted back like she was “blown away” with relief. The notion that fists, feet, and skateboards aren't a deadly threat really needs to be addressed. I heard some statistics just the other day, and it's late and I'm tired, but I'm pretty sure they said there are more deaths attributed to fists and feet every year than there are to guns. And a skateboard is definitely a weapon when used as such, I don't care what anyone says. My son was into skateboarding and they are way heavier than they look. I'm really disappointed. Not that I ever condone threats to a person, but it is worth stating that the prosecution acted appallingly. Their first desire should be for truth and justice and not just winning the case. However, they demonstrated a lack of discernment multiple times, withheld a number of key witnesses, put forward testimonies from unreliable witnesses and lied to the Court. You might expect that from a "lay-lawyer" but this should never be the practice of the prosecution who are held to a higher level of responsibility.

Just came from Banfields 45 min interview with Kyle and I’m here to say she did a HORRIBLE job. I didn’t follow her before and I certainly won’t be following her now. Based on the comment section on that video she’s lost a tremendous amount of respect from people who did follow her. The first part of the two-part final question was not addressed. Banfield began by addressing Richards' comment that people shouldn't be walking around with semi-automatic rifles, then buried it by talking abut things that have already been addressed in court. Richards instinctively went into defense lawyer mode and everyone forgot about the most important question. Lesson here is keep questions short. She should have left it at that when asking him to comment on his belief that no one should be walking around carrying rifles. I can only assume that Banfield felt a bit intimidated and backed into a corner, so to speak; otherwise why not refer to the original question? Banfield sort of reminds me of the judge who kept referring to his past as if it mattered -- e.g. when I was a lawyer back in the day, etc. etc. -- when she keeps reminding everyone she has been doing this for 15-20 years. Not to sound harsh, but no one cares. You don't build credibility by constantly making reference to your cv. I "like" and admire the host's intelligence, but it seems sometimes she's asking for approval. Don't beg your guest to ask their client to be interviewed by the most "unbiased" network.

This defense attorney is EXACTLY what you want in your corner when you're facing death or a life sentence. He's got sand and substance, and isn't afraid. He's there to help. Not pull a miracle but do his utmost to defend you in trial. Bravo to him and his partner in defending Kyle. Justice was done, in no small part due to Kyle's defense.

Hes actually not that good of an attorney, and if you are an attorney you'd saw why in trial; That being said he did a great job in the background and an OK job in court but that being said, legally speaking, the defense had an open and shut case. Also he's a big liberal but ill give him a pass for that 😁

Actually, most states do not have a duty to retreat and almost all states are "open carry" states.
