Nice to see... I owned a Land Cruiser Prado (1992 years model) when I lived in Tanzania (2005-2007). I imported it from Japan ... and really miss that car. Nice to see some good Prados are still running. Now I have hope for the new Prado 2024. :)

Lovely machine , I have a swb version with the 1kzt 3.0l turbo diesel and obligatory 5 speed manual! Its in Ireland Id love to import it to Canada

78 series or the prados rides better than the other heavy duty 70 series ones. Its running on 4coil springs rather than the leaf springs on the heavy duty LC70’s. Rides better than the late model ones & still can do what the heavy duty ones can do. However, 2Lte engines is prone to overheating. The (kzj78) 1kz engines are way bette. Its more responsive & runs cooler than the 2lte. Both experience owning both & i curruntly own a kzj78.

The 2.4lte broke my heart for 2 years. Zero power with lots of smoke 💨 Then I got it transplant 4.2 FTE. Engine & Gearbox. Ultimate machine nowadays.
