The turbo is so loud! That thing sounds like a freaking tractor! Love it!! Can’t wait to see it on the trail.

Looks like that didn't last long cant blame ya i ditched mine for a "proper" 77 series. Although for around town the 78 is a fun truck. .

The suspension has been seriously screwed up when it was raised. You can tell by the angle of the steering rod from the pitman arm to the left front wheel. Looks like the panhard rod wasnt relocated. Caster is most likely screwed up as well

Hey man, great video.....just picked up a 1992 Prado EX right hand drive and I am in Canada....first timer...can you help me with finding the north american cross reference vehicle for engine amd suspemsion parts? Like, is there a comparable year and model of HiLux? or??? am i stuck with the more esspensive imprt parts?

Suspension wise they are there own animal. Engine was never shared with anything in usa but was put in same year hilux in other countries. I’ve been buying most my oem parts from www.partsouq.com and cruiser outfitters. I carry suspension in Dobinsons brand that I’m running now on mine.

I've always wanted a turbo Land cruiser I love my 80 series but man I would sure love to get 20 miles a gallon How much would it realistically cost to get a Diesel cruiser?
@brwils33782 жыл бұрын
One of these with a 2.4 or 3.0 liter Turbo diesel in good condition and reasonable mileage in North America I presume is usually from 22,000 to 30,000 dollars depending on features and condition.
@Aldan0012 жыл бұрын
It does not get anywhere close to 20 mpg. My 1kz-te Surf (2nd gen 4runnet) gets 11 liters/100km on the highway at stedy 60mph. City driving is 16-20l per 100/km
