Trying to interview the coach during the match: bad idea. Awkward and distracting.

There's no 235lb weight class, he could have been giving up close to 70 depending on the opponent -197, -285, there's no inbetween
@gladiatorking2.0envoyofthe95 Жыл бұрын
@@insertcolorherehawk3761there should be though, like a 220 weight class at least

@@gladiatorking2.0envoyofthe95 It's insane, but yeah, there's an independent organization outside of the NCAA that does it for College, but HWT is the only thing for the NCAA I'd like to see a competition at the senior level that does that, but that's more for the intrigue than it is the actual event

Why did Snyder let him up at 3:01?
@gregdailey64193 жыл бұрын
Lots of wrestlers give up the one point because they feel more comfortable on their feet. I used to do the same.
@ForeskinTim3 жыл бұрын
@@gregdailey6419 Why not just hold onto him until the ref stands you up again?
@anhnghiem48483 жыл бұрын
@@ForeskinTim that’s because they feel it’s worth the point to be on their feet and because he’s top he won’t get any point for a take down and if the guy underneath get a turn over it will be 2 points lost instead of 1.
@rosavalentinaa3 жыл бұрын
If you know you're better than the other guy, getting the 2 and letting him up just to secure another takedown is a great way to rack up points. Also a great way to mentally defeat people😂

How tf is he an Olympic gold medalist and goes down to NCAA. That’s like going from professional WBA WBC boxing champion and going down to the golden gloves
@schenksteven1 Жыл бұрын
Not really. It's more like a professional boxing champion who is also a professional kickboxing champion. Wrestling in the Olympics and wrestling at the NCAA are two different styles.
@fmulder6564 Жыл бұрын
@Francisco-ue4ew He didn't 'go down to ncaa'. He did the Olympics while he was in college. Both are amateur competitions (they don't get paid), do there's no issue. Pro boxers do get paid, so you can't go back to amateur after becoming a pro. Plus like the other guy said, Olympic wrestling is freestyle. Ncaa is folk style. Two very different rules sets.
