I grew up in the beginning of MTV. I will never forget when that video came out....EPIC!! I also remember the band talking about the inspiration for the song was from the movie "Johnny got his gun" i think it was called and Lars saying he played the drums as hard as he could. it’s not not edited but it is all a single take with no quantization lol lots of eq and compression to get that sound especially on the kick but that sound at 5:01 specifically is just a really loud kick all by itself lol
