Hi kyle, I'm 22 Italian pianist, near to one last piano year for the piano graduation, dreaming to do one day something like you do yet, I play many arrangements from classical, modern and contemporary composer including yours arrangements XD , I follow you from 6 months and can sincerely say that you have great talent and technique with arrangements, really not easy to play quickly , some your arrangements in technique version have chords mixed like F. Busoni, Liszt, rachmaninov (elegy for rem appear like rachmaninoff arrangements XD) so it isn't for all play your version, you have done a great work in this years like pianist and with composition, a fortune and a pleasure to know you and your arrangements online, I hope you will go on always in better, I'm happy to know the community in the forum and exepecelly thanks to the writers piano part. So I write this comment only to say thank you, because now you are in my circle of piano authors :) Complimenti :) P. s. Really I loved all your works, but exepecelly Anime, Disney and ghibli works, and also Christmas works that I hope will arrive soon.

Lessons are not the be all and end all of getting good at piano. I've been playing for 14 years, but haven't had lessons for 5-6 years. However, due to actually practising over the last 4 years, I've seen a dramatic spike in my ability.
@emilie593710 жыл бұрын
TheDiggster13 Thats true. Practice is what makes you good! I have had lessons for 5 years, and I have learned all there is to know. I also had an amazing teacher! But I have kept practicing and I have improved. Your teacher just learns you how to play, and how to read music. It's up to you to keep playing and practising!

Dan Spats That's how all these great pianists including Kyle get so good. I'm sure he spends hours a day practicing. No matter how talented you are, or if you can play music by ear you are only still as good as much as you play. You may be a talented music reader or something but hand strength and memory are only acquired from hours of practice. So I am sure Kyle plays huge amounts to be as good as he is.
