Just got around to thinking about opening him up today, which brought me to your review. Back in the closet he goes. I'll keep my Darkseid BAF out instead. Wish he'd have come with a Mother Box or a Boom Tube controller. Very bare bones offering all things considered really

Same boat. Got him at the BBTS 1/2 price sale. He's probably worth that, but don't think he is worth paying full price with the floating armor pieces and very noticeable joints. He looks pretty good next to the McFarlane Kalibak, but still waiting for the perfect Darkseid (Mezco Darkseid would be it with slightly better articulation and a little more size).

his omega beams are supposed to be like that instead of just coming out straight so that you never know where they are coming from. batman, to my knowledge, is the only hero to ever evade them fully.

F.Y.I., Kyle . . . Isaac Yankem, D.D.S. definitely DOES NOT provide Darkseid's dental healthcare. 🤔Perhaps he's a patient of Britt Baker, D.M.D? 😉 This figure looks too flimsy and loose to command its outrageous full retail price. You were lucky to jump on that flash sale - which I just missed by a matter of hours - and take advantage of the deep discount. But even a 50% cut seems insufficient in this case. I would have felt conflicted paying that price, too, despite being much lower. I had high hopes for Beast Kingdom's rendition of this character, but now they're dashed. It makes me wonder if Storm Collectibles did a better job with their version, which is also marketed as "premium" but was far less expensive than this one when it first came out. Do you happen to have it in your collection so as to compare the two, Kyle?

Wow. Darkseid tower over Superman and Supergirl on the video. But I think he's 9 inches tall. 9 1/2 scale. Not that good on measurements. Lol. Hahaha. But on Amazon he's $100.00. Not bad. He was $150.00. He does have a lot articulation. And a great looking figure I might add. I enjoy the video. Hopefully I can get my hands on him.

When it comes to DC figures u only need a definitive version & ur good to go. mafex hush line gets it done for the most part but this is the only darkseid u need

Will wait for when get the superior Jack Kirby design gets done. They brought him back in a monochrome/black and grey look in Infinite Frontier and Dark Crisis. Sorry Jim Lee but this look is just inferior.

For the price of Darkseid they better take extra precaution. One sure fire way to make ppl boiling mad is. Not! take the extra precaution. And Darkseid arrive damaged or broken. I think the reason for the wild omega beams. Is bc characters like Batman can dodge them. And characters like the flash can outrun and zig&zag them.
