Kyler I've been listening to your music since before summertime soon back on clips of blue branch road but my pa passed a few months ago and I blindly listen to this song and you brought me to tears with it man how I wish to have him back the crooked smile.on the front porch killed me I can wake up in the middle of the night and smell him cooking us grilled cheeses before going hunting love from south carolina and Ty's pa 😢😢

Such a beautiful song. I don't understand why your music doesn't have more likes. But know it has reached hearts. It's hard to hear this song and not get a little choked up atm. My grandpa passed away on Nov 30 (his Borthday) in 2022 and his funeral was held on Dec 2nd, which was my birthday. I feel your pain but it’s something that you will always remember. At least for me it is.

This song is for my Uncle John. He loved his grandson's & daughter more than life itself. I cried soo much listening to this. He was & will always be such a big part of my childhood & my heart. I too hope God still has a lighter...the Angels gave him an Ace to hold...& that he's picking Yellow Roses...& my hope is also that he's got on those bluejean overalls he loved soo much...that Granny is keeping him in line lol, that the bellydancers are shaking it to his fav songs & that he's drinking alllll the lemon sours we used to drink together w alllll the extra lemon juice & salt & that PuttPutt is running circles around his feet.
