Its so sad that Part One has 1 million views, and this one only has 100 thousand! That means so many people have given up on learning a very beautiful piece :( Great tutorial, thankyou!!!

Man. Ten years ago I wanted to learn this song and I found your tutorial part one... I could only learn that part because I didn't know there was a part 2 due to the fact that I didn't know to speak English and I didn't realize that in the description there was a link to part 2...now I decided to play it full and I remembered your tutorial, so I looked for it.. Now I'm going to play it full for sure. I wanted to thank you because you helped me a lot. This was the first song I had ever tried to learn without sheets, and I did it (at least part 1) thanks to you! Thank you my friend, I hope you are OK

I taught myself to play this song because it always made me think of my mum... I lost her to cancer when I was 23.. She was only 47.. Makes it worse that I grew up with domestic violence and, for me, it's like she's saying every word of the song but saying it about my dad and the chorus is her talking about how she always protected us from him even though she was suffering herself.

For those who think he plays it too quickly, there is a play speed function in the settings so you can slow it down to your preferred tempo. This is a great rendition of such a beautiful piece!

I have never taken lessons before and I came across your tutorial at a time where I was feeling so much angst and frustration over someone i lost and I just needed a place to put it all, something to channel it all into, an emotional release. It took some time but I learned to play the whole song. It's still a battle, but it helped. Thank you Kyle.

King Luc, just want you to know that I picked My Immortal to be my first song to learn on piano, and after looking at a bunch of sheet music that was wrong, I started searching youtube tutorials and came across your ridiculously advanced version. It was by far my favorite, and was immensely helpful in learning what's played in the actual song. I love all of the extra arpeggios you threw in and will be constantly working on them as I get better. I have the left hand chorus part down, but am

Thank you Kyle! I've always wanted to learn how to play this song and you've helped a lot. I think it would be very helpful to play it MUCH slower with two hands (maybe half speed or 50 BPM or so) so that the timing between the left and right was clearer, especially during the chorus and bridge. But I don't want to sound unappreciative, I love your tutorials! (BTW I used your tutorial to learn Faithfully as well. It was dead on!)

I think youre a great piano player and these tutorials did help a lot, my only suggestion would be to name the notes because some players like myself do not know what notes compose certain chords such as E minor, etc or what an extended cord consists of. So if you could explain those a little better that would help a TON! thanks again though

Spent a good 2 hours on this today and got everything up to and including the chorus down. Awesome arrangement, it sounds amazing. I just think you should slow down a tad bit. The 2nd part of the video looks like it will take me many days to fully decipher (splitting up the hands and maybe zooming in on them would help). Still great though.

This is a wonderful video. My friend Is teaching me the song though, she learnt by ear and has an easier version. I came looking for the bridge but it's complicated the way you do it lol so I'll wait for her. I find it is much easier to learn by seeing it in real life, and to try it and have her correct me on what I'm doing wrong. But I played along with you for the first video lol
